    Pros

Staff is dedicated to serving the needs of seriously ill patients. Promising pipeline of products to be launched in the near future.

    Pros

Benefits (total rewards) will keep one from leaving. If you are talented, they will spot it and fast track you.

    Cons

Decision making has too many layers but management is looking to peel the "layers of mgmt" in this restructuring effort. It will make position the company for success given it's promising pipeline.

    Pros

Amgen is a very financialy strong organization with significant free cashflows and a strong cash position. It also has a very strong pipeline.

    Cons

Sr. Management is currently dismantleing the organization. The staff is getting demoralized as there is little value placed on experience and there is a significant focus on bringing in people from the out side for new Sr. positions.

    Pros

Benefits and pay are good. Campus is beautiful. Gym is nice.

    Cons

Politics, people who have been there for a long time are spoiled and don't realize they have a good job. Some work very hard, others don't because they are management favorites.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too much LMS training. More communication on business outlook. Don't give as much notice to employees with lay offs because no one works when they hear of lay offs coming.
