I have been working at Amphenol (Less than a year)

    Pros

Endless travel opportunities and advancement. Also very good with personal issues.

    Cons

bonus structure is not great, they can change any bonus structure as they see fit. High pressure sales, not good at strategy planning or execution. Pay the employees at least 20 to 30% below market value and they do not realize it or they do not care. They have high turn over due to the fact that they have poor training programs.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees what the market suggests and try to not just recruit from universities in order to get a lower salary rate.

I worked at Amphenol full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Takeover by Amphenol of previous company was swift. Pay stayed the same after takeover. Some management changes were made.

    Cons

Benefits were slashed, including sick and personal time. Education assistance vanished. This was all done after promise of identical benefits for the first year.

    Advice to Management

Keep things the same when they are promised to stay the same.

    Pros

Salary is a above average in a customer service setting. $12-$16/hr.

    Cons

Managers there collect a paycheck without doing much else. They don't train there new hires but they expect them to know every aspect of their job and in as little as 3 weeks! I would avoid this company if at all possible. Their on time deliveries were never on time and when the customer wanted a status update they kept blaming their other company in Mexico for their delivery delays.

    Advice to Management

Fire everyone and hire new people who are willing to really work for their pay checks! Stop hiring fathers, daughters, sisters and brothers to run your company. You dilute the work ethic by not hiring qualified people who know what they are really doing. I can't even give this company 1 star because that's how poorly managed a company it is.
