    Internship at Amplify Trading

    Trainee Trader (Former Employee)
    London, England (UK)

ProsA good starting point to grasp the basics of trading
Mentors are very helpful and friendly, so you basically can ask any question that comes up to your mind

ConsRemote trading from home, which is kind of demoralizing
Small chance of getting a full time sponsored position at their office
Relatively basic trading techniques and theory taught; by some effort same material could be found online for free

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Internship Programme 1 Month, Worth the money in my opinion

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    London, England (UK)

Prosthe internship gave you a complete crash course in technical and fundamental analysis, only about 15 of you on the course so if you want to ask something its not intimidating. First week is in house training then after that you get a virtual trading account using their professional software and you trade along the live markets with them at home and hooked up to them and other colleagues via conferencing software hotcomm, its like a chatroom. The course teaches you everything you need to know about prop trading from a beginners level and although its quite expensive i felt it was worth it!

ConsLost a bit of touch when working at home but you can still ask any questions through the chat room but its not quite the same.

    – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
