    Pros

    - Decent corporate discount
    - Having a corporate gym is nice but machines/weights are minimal, like a hotel gym

    Cons

    - Pay & benefits are paltry
    - Depending on your manager/supervisor, it could be the worse job of your life

    Advice to Management

    - Get rid of the nepotism. There are managers here who are useless but stay because they're friends with VPs
    - Pay your employees more

  2. Great People, Lousy Salaries, Fun Company Culture, Environmentally Irresponsible.

    Pros

The advantage of working here is that you get to work with some wonderful, creative people. There are lots of opportunities for professional skill building.

    Cons

The pay is low for the amount of original artwork creative people provide. Professional growth entails mostly lateral moves. Although there are lots of loyal employees, a huge perk in terms of the company culture, some of the management seems to have grown stale. There is little interpersonal connection between upper management and the rest of the company.

    Advice to Management

Provide better growth strategies for employees. Consider how to can provide incentives. Provide forums for employee feedback, especially to consider better management tactics and environmentally sound alternatives.

  3. Boring but worth the pay.

    Pros

I got hired thru a job agency called Addeco for $11. For as mindless as the job is the pay is great. Two different shifts, morning and afternoon.

    Cons

    Redundant. Not flexible with hours.

    Pros

If you are looking for a job that's not very stressful or challenging I would work here. There is also free parking.

    Cons

Not a very professional work place, the way they operate is very dated. Long work days and unpaid lunch.

  6. Great people, positive environment, good work life balance, but low pay

    Pros

The people I worked with were my favorite part of the job. I got to know many of the people in my division, even those outside of my department. Everyone was very friendly and supportive, and even the management was fun and easygoing. I learned a lot in this positive environment.

    Cons

Technology is pretty outdated as a whole, with upgrades trickling in inconsistently. There's a lot they could do to make the workflow more efficient with more updated tech. Upper management could also be a little more efficient so projects don't get stalled so often. Pay is low for the field. I take one star off for that - otherwise would be pretty satisfied with my role.

    Advice to Management

Allow division directors to make more independent decisions so there isn't as much holdup with projects.

  7. Good company but out dated

    Pros

Knowledgeable, friendly, great location. Even though the timelines are extremely tight, people come together to get the job done.

    Cons

The company does not operate on trend; website is outdated, social media is not used on a daily basis in terms of Marketing, Product Awareness or promotions.

    Advice to Management

    Need a better work/life balance

    Pros

    Cons

No opportunities to move up; old fashioned, no working from home policy

    Pros

I worked IT for a number of years in the business sector of the Burlington area of Massachusetts. Am Source is a small company that is expanding. It has a healthy benefit package for the full time employees. They offer training, bonuses and plenty of overtime. It's a nice clean environment that is safety conscious.

    Cons

High turn over rate in production. Company is also going through a growth curve that rocks the boat continuously, par for the course in my opinion.

    Advice to Management

Do more to retain the menial tasked workers. They need more incentive to remain in that position. The burden gets laid on the full timers that are hooked in.

    Pros

once you are finally hired full time, they have an excellent wellness program and fitness program

    Cons

Extremely poor management, they can't keep up with the workload, which trickles down to the layout artists. They talk behind your back and blame the layout artists for everything, even though THEY are the ones who sign off the work to print.

zero room for growth, unless you stay for 12+ years and take open positions from retirees
