    Pros

    Great products, local production. Employees in three different locations. Interesting commercial customers.

    Cons

    Headquarter is in the UK. Ever so often a manager swoops in to bring the latest strategies for the U.S. to implement. May not be the best modus to maximize profits here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More autonomy for the U.S. Change sales model from large direct sales force to regional distributors.

    I have been working at Amtico

    Pros

    Great product performance. Company produces product in the United States and allows for a sales position that can't be matched.

    Cons

    New leadership in the last year has tweaked the system to show a profit margin that isn't realistic in today's economy. Normal business costs are being cut in an effort to shower better margin for the investment group.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stop treating our customers as widgets and realize that the changes we have made alienate sales reps from repeat business. There is no easy come easy go in today's market.
