Technically challenging environment. Good opportunity to use initiative and make a difference. Nice environment with good flexibility for personal life requirements
Cons
Renumeration is average. Benefit package is moderate. Occasionally, recognition of work and promotions can be slow.
Pros
- Good non monetary benefits package
- "Small company" feel, despite larger size
- Lots of opportunity for junior people to learn
Cons
- Pay package extremely low compared to nearby companies
- Little focus paid on actually getting things done, and products into customers hands
Advice to Senior Management
It seems that some parts of the company are milked as a cash cow, and the rest of the company is left to rot. The neglect of the less exciting product lines has led a once industry-leading technology company to be an also-ran in MEMS and digital chips. That's a shame, but it doesn't have to be permanent!
Pros
If was great place to work if you are in the right group.
Cons
You will get lost if you are outside the circle.
Advice to Senior Management
Follow the honesty and intergratey policy,
Pros
Not too stressful a workplace with a decent work life balance
Cons
Not high on compensation and the management follows a risk averse business model
Advice to Senior Management
may not be bad to be the driver in some of the market rather than the follower
Pros
Not much micro management, and have much freedom to try new technical ideas as long as it can meet project schedule and goals.
CAD tools and supports are somewhat good.
Encouraged to submit your idea to patent, internal/external conference, and journals.
Not much extra meetings, at least for no management people, and have much time on your technical work.
Have much flexibility for working time frame to adjust your family matters.
Cons
The above pros are totally up to your direct boss. There is no strong and formal company policy so that you could be very lucky or unlucky depending on the situation.
Not good salary compared to the competitors.
Not enough tools, website, or meetings to propagate the information across the company. Sometimes you don't know who to ask or where to find important information.
Advice to Senior Management
Not to change the organization too frequently, but rather spend more time how to stabilize and optimize the existing organization.
Pros
Good 401K Benifits program with matching that is best around.
Cons
Little tough for advancement. Will bring in outside to replace. Is hiring a lot from overseas lately
Advice to Senior Management
Communicate with employees of non-managemnet status
Pros
In general good technical growth and learning opportunities are there,
Freedom to handle multiple technical work might be very good for fresher graduates.
Cons
There are very few individuals who are partial and involved on state based politics.
HR is still unable to control this.
Advice to Senior Management
AD has very good reputation worldwide please do not spoil it within India.
It is not hard to identify very few unprofessional people at top level. HR should play more active role. Appraisal/promotion system should be more transparent and should not depend upon which state you belong.
