    Pros

You will be working with the experts in the telecoms. If you want to increase your knowledge in this field, you will not be disappointed here!

    Cons

The atmosphere is not the most lively and you can feel like you are not valued. Training and career progression policy was unclear.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Small things that make employees feel valued, can make a huge difference. The cost could easily be offset by reducing employee churn.

    I worked at Analysys Mason

    Pros

Some nice co-workers, quiet and modern work environment, free drinks and Friday lunches, good tech support.

    Cons

Virtually everyone was introverted and hated any noise in the office (including phones ringing or work-related conversation). As soon as someone was a level above you, they'd act like the MD to you. Feedback was in the form of "you should have done this" afterwards, instead of "you can do it this way" beforehand, which was VERY unhelpful for starting new projects. It was basically an assembly line of report writing - some people had their time booked for the next 3 months, since you were given a set time per report and could in theory plan everything out (but things always came up).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get some most interesting people to help make the work environment less like a factory.

I have been working at Analysys Mason

    Pros

    Some interesting assignments mostly commercial.

    Cons

Left on your own to find your own way through commercial contracts that are way bigger than one person to handle.

Not much technical support - they claim to be experts, but I had difficulty finding any real technical support for difficult concepts, training was hard to come by.

Always changing their terms and conditions of employment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too many administration and HR staff that reduce the profit of the company.
