I have been working at Analytics Quotient full-time

    Pros

Only perk is flexible work timing

    Cons

no exposure in terms of client facing, they hire people with statistical analysis background, but most of the time they work only on SQL, so skill deterioration and no skill addition. People in the middle level of management think they have been given some sort of power and all employees below them work for them and not for company. Micromanagement.

    Advice to Management

Now that organisation is expanding, its important that you rise above personal relations when it comes to decision making. Also give some trainings to your middle management. Before putting them into leadership role, make them understand how to build employee relationships.

    Pros

Start-Up like environment, you get to control your day Great set of peers You can set your own goals for the year and ask for any training or more responsibility and it will be provided. Rest if up to you to perform.

    Cons

Salary discrepancies are too high Bonus and Performance appraisal process has 0 transparency and is inconsistent, CTC inflation(part of your ctc for this year comes in January the next year) Feedback for on-sites/senior members is definitely not 360 degrees as claimed Projects are more focused towards visualization and dashboards rather than core analytics

    Advice to Management

Doesn't matter what we write, nothing will change as no one hears what the employees have to say. If the management is fine with a high attrition rate, they don't really care about why people leave or why they would like to stay here. Reasons for both situations are equally important.

I have been working at Analytics Quotient full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Exposure to end-to-end project management

    Cons

Not at all employee friendly. Gives more importance to personal relations with subordinates than work.

    Advice to Management

    Please start working

    Pros

Good exposure for freshers who want to make a career in Analytics

    Cons

Low salary, you suffer for small mistakes.

    Advice to Management

Hiring fresh IITians who do not have an IT background with a low salary will not work in favor of the companies. Try to understand why there is so much attrition in the company inspite of great clients and projects.

    Pros

Flexible Timings Diversity in Projects Scope to exhibit potential Learn different things Almost inside Bangalore

    Cons

Amateur management decisions, decision taken on relationship rather than facts Encourage talent verbally, when it comes to money they have nothing to pay you Good to work as a fresher, learn things and get out. Things starts getting dirty if you stay longer Lot of politics and dirty tricks by some senior people

    Advice to Management

Avoid listening to managers rather listen to the employees, there is always a miscommunication happening to you guys. You guys have grown to this level by the effort of some good employees, and not by your luck or genius talent.
