Pros
At Anchor Bank, there are many loyal customers and regulars that you get to know. They focus on treating the customer well and fairly.
Cons
Anchor Bank's financial situation has been rocky the past few years. High turnover at most branches. Steadily declining positions available. Many changes occurring very quickly.
Advice to Senior Management
I would suggest creating a better benefits package. They one they have is okay, but other places of employment definitely have better options and matching for their 401 (k) (which is currently not being done right now at Anchor Bank.)
Pros
I loved working for the company I would have stayed with them forever if I could
Cons
The unknown of if the bank was going to fail or not
Pros
Good pay, ok incentive, friendly customers
Cons
If you want to advance your career, you have to move between the branches
Advice to Senior Management
Pay attention to the supervisor, asst. supervisor duties!
Pros
The small size creates the opportunity to have a variety of projects.
Coworkers are friendly.
There is a real commitment to community through volunteering.
Cons
With every small size company there may limited career growth opportunities.
On certain occasions the less deserving employees may receive a promotion.
Advice to Senior Management
Support career growth for all levels of employees whether it's a teller or senior banker. Tellers are the front line, they have frequent customer contact and should be valued (paid) more. They recognize and greet our customers by name. Their stellar customer service should be rewarded.
