    Pros

Work life balance, training and the continuous improvement is definitely what every company should aspire to.

    Cons

A few employees run the show...the employee surveys are a joke.

    Advice to Management

Take a look at your management in place, appreciate all the employees, not just with gainsharing but with honesty and fair open communication!

    Pros

It's a job. In hard times people are grateful for any source of income, no matter how small. The fact that they hired me is something I am thankful for.

    Cons

Long Hours. Overtime looks good on the pay check but when it becomes the norm the drain on a person physically is not worth it.

    Advice to Management

Raise your hourly pay. Using the state of the economy as an excuse not raise employees wages when the company is making record profits is inexcusable.

    Pros

Good insurance. Pay is average for the area. Benifits are above average.

    Cons

To much control of the people. To many policies and rules. Sometimes I feel like a child instead of an adult

    Pros

Wonderful company, management does listen but never follow through with promises. always let certain ones do what they want when they want.

    Cons

Favoritism and favoritism and more favoritism...along with clicks.

    Pros

good hourly employees that care about the future of the company. Loyalty of long term employees helps to keep operations going.

    Cons

incompetence is allowed and sheltered. Needless complications and roadblocks for managers brought on "make the rules up as we go along" management style. As an Anchor employee, you are lower in status compared to Caterpillar employees, and payed accordingly. Managers are treated like children and incompetents.

    Advice to Management

Bring in more Caterpillar employees in the HR side of the business, to root out the inbred nature of the revolving door managers in Menominee.
