    Pros

    I've been with AnchorFree for almost a year now, and have been fairly impressed with both the company and the working environment. Professional growth is both welcomed and encouraged. There's a diverse company culture and fun events (paintball!). From what I've seen, there's an overall satisfaction with management, but also from personal experience, the executives do their best to understand employee needs and accommodate them. In my role, I see interactions between people pretty clearly, and there's a lot of focus on team work and establishing a positive working environment.

    Cons

    The communication system needs fine-tuning.

    Pros

    - Hip attitude;
    - Okay compensation;
    - Not overly bureaucratic;
    - Foor, beer, new great office;
    - Chance to work with great people;
    - Decent medical;
    - Meaningful project.

    Cons

    - You WILL hear a lot of conversation in Russian. "Language of business" is English and everybody speaks it, but Russian is quite visible. No problem for me, but there are more sensitive souls
    - Due to a hip nature of the company, you will find company culture sometimes hectic.

    The company management is a bit messy.

    Pros

    Excellent professional, intelligent co-workers, I always get my questions answered.
    Freedom of choosing technologies for automation environment. A lot of projects todo and support - I have never get bored on this job.
    Of course employee benefits like lunches and a lot of healthy food on kitchen all the time, free yoga and English classes, Friday's employee talk, beer bashes make my company unique.

    Cons

    The office building is kind of old and we have problem with condition sometimes.

    Advice to Management

    Projects planning is still an issue (we have too many) especially for QA automation, but hope we will do better with our new team members.

    Pros

    Hard work is valued and appreciated. Flexible hours and great growth potentials if you work hard. Very close to major highways so commute is fast. Vacation is easy to take as long as you plan it ahead with the management.
    Gym, entertainment, free food / lunches, company parties and lots of other benefits that other local companies offer.

    Cons

    Not all employees appreciate the office rules and sometimes environment is a bit to relaxed. Wish there were more team building activities so everyone would work together even better.

    Pros

    People are friendly and always willing to help which brings a real sense of teamwork. The company moves fast and is exciting to work for. Management understands that people work hard and in return the company has many outings and team building activities. Schedules are more or less flexible with an understanding of other 'Life' needs and responsibilities. Overall, AnchorFree is a great company to work for in a fun, supportive environment.

    Cons

    The company moves very fast which can sometimes seem as though there isn't enough organizational structure and resources.

    Cons

    Free food and beer, full kitchen with drinks and snacks
    Very good Medical/Vision/Dental benefits
    Free special seminars and trainings, because company pays for them
    Very nice coworkers and relaxed office atmosphere

    Pros

    Food, lots of food, beer
    Ping pong and foosball
    Like others pointed this place is pretty laid back

    Cons

    This place breeds politics; the upper management is very manipulative and keeps changing the course of direction. The worst part of being here is that you cannot find who is trustworthy. Everyone has their agenda in mind and they agree to whatever the upper managmenet says. They talk about data and how to use it, nevertheless they use data to justify their decisions and not otherwise -- if data says the opposite or a different approach they discard it. This place is not collaborative and professional. I so regret for having worked here...

    Advice to Management

    Be true to the company and the employees. Otherwise failure is inevitable.

    Pros

    If you want to change the world and believe in the power of the internet, there is no better place to be. You get to tackle huge engineering problems and get to interact with hundreds of millions of users in tons of countries. Really fun stuff.

    Cons

    The company is had a huge growth stage, so like many startups in that stage you need to be a bit more self organized and ambitious to keep up.
