    Pros

    - Great company atmosphere. HR is proactive. They are constantly looking for ways to make the workplace environment better.
    - Overall the company is looking to the future and continually strives to put Andesa in a good place moving into the future. Growth is on the horizon and opportunity is through the roof for employees, which is nice :)
    - Employee-to-manager relationships is very laid back and flexible.

    Cons

Not many cons. But to be honest for being an I.T. company it seems as though we are always a step behind with regard to technology and tools. I'd like to see this company be more proactive and be a leader in the Policy Admin. industry in this regard.

    Pros

Organization employs talented passionate individuals. Benefits and compensation appear to be above the average. Management seems stable and care about the future of the company and the needs of the employee

    Cons

Communication between sites could be improved. Often changes are made and the various offices are not aware of the change. As much as we try, we still periodically act as two separate companies.

    Advice to Management

Currently, I have no advice to to management. In appearance, as well as in my opinion, practice, they deal fairly, honestly, and consistently with the employees.

    Pros

Scheduling flexibility, family friendly, relaxed environment, clean workspace, company outings.

    Cons

Below standard pay grades, lack of leadership and structure, lack of a formal training program.

    Advice to Management

Consider a full time trainer to run a training program for entry level positions such as client services. Have updated, uniform procedures centrally located and enforced. Be consistent with guidelines and standards. Hold supervisors to a high standard for their position, which should include training, team development, and goal setting.

    Problems with upper-middle management

    I worked at Andesa Services

    Pros

    Pay wasn't too bad.
Didn't have to commute to a city.
Management seems to want to keep the company alive in a dying market

    Cons

toxic work environment. Lots of yelling from company executives. Upper/middle management had far too much ungoverned power and was quick to defer blame to subordinates.

    Advice to Management

Do some housekeeping. I see via linked in that people are exiting that place at an alarming rate. Take the message. there's still something wrong. do some anonymous surveys or something from people who have left or are still there. Your company has a good mission, but is going to die if the upper/middle management problem isn't fixed

Good culture, great people. Company has direction.

    Cons

More focused on keeping money rather than investing in the future. Outdated workstations, out dated technologies used in products. Out dated approach to software development.

    Advice to Management

Invest in new technologies. If you are technology company, this should be a focus.

    Pros

Andesa may be a good place to work if you like the insurance industry but don't want to work for a big company. Glassdoor requires you to a minimum of twenty words of "pros" This is it.

    Cons

ANdesa faces a consistent downhill trend, based a outdated business model with no future and they have no viable new plans for future growth. Dealing with shrinking revenue by shrinking staff, asking them to do a growing workload with stagnant technology.
