I have been working at Andy Frain part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexible with your schedule, you get to work in the entertainment industry, and the posts are fairly simple.

    Cons

Not always that many shifts to work, shift hours are sometimes short so your pay may not add up to be that much.

    Advice to Management

Create more venues so there can be more stable work, introduce more permanent positions that way a regular schedule can be available.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Andy Frain part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you have a heartbeat you could probably get hired, as long as you don't have a criminal record. Pays better than McDonald's. Job security if you work a shift no one wants.

    Cons

Terrible insurance No uniform reimbursement Pay is low for looking like and acting like police. Company doesn't care if we have a break room, water, or anything to help us when we are working in extreme conditions under constant stress.

    Advice to Management

Don't let friends of the Director of Security work at the same location. He takes hours from the employees who have worked there longer than he has, and gives those hours to his friends. I have 15 years of experience in Law Enforcement and Security.

I worked at Andy Frain part-time

    Pros

    Easy work and minimal supervision

    Cons

Pay-hired on as a supervisor however, was payed for more than half the time at the rate of my subordinates. Whats the point in being a supervisor if I'm not being payed as one? Shift Change-If your schedule has you posted for 0600-1400 you should be relieved on time or just before...not here was consistently relieved 2-3 hrs after my shift. It's fine if your pay reflects the extra hrs as overtime...not here. Worked 16 hrs of overtime and was paid for half that...I just want to be paid for the work I did...nothing more

    Advice to Management

Fix the pay issues, posting of guards and hire quality over quantity.

I worked at Andy Frain full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There was room for advancement and the people you work with are a lot of fun. It is a very laid back atmosphere.

    Cons

They work you16 hours a day with no days off. There is no time and a half, so whatever you are making an hour is what you will get paid. Management needs changed.

I have been working at Andy Frain part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is always communication of some sort. Whether through email, text or a phone call, supervisors and upper management can almost always be reached when you need to get in touch with them. I have not had Issues of heads butting with anyone since I started with the company. I look forward to the days we work because i get to see my other family basically.

    Cons

Pay is over minimum wage but isn't much, no chance of getting a big paycheck because you only work one or two days out of the pay period.

    Advice to Management

progressive pay increases would be great as well as the company supplying cold waters or gatorades or something for purposes of hydration throughout the shift.

    Pros

The ball is in your court. If you want to drive positive change, management will hear your ideas out and give you the resources and advice needed to do it.

    Cons

Locations/ employees are spread out, so communication can be a hurdle.
