Advice to Senior Management
back off being so pushy on the credit card, it is not all about credit in this economy you should appreciate they are spending their money on your clothes, managers need training on how to speak to people without insulting them, consistency on policy, hire correctly, promising 20-25 hours and getting 5-9 is crazy! this could be an amazing place to work but current management has created retail fashion hell, not only for employees but for the customers as well....
Pros
Good management and opportunities for growth
Cons
liason(s) and communication between DM and HR regarding issues
Advice to Senior Management
none
Pros
Great job. Enjoyed helping people. Earned recognition. Was fun. Management was good, room for advancement if people wanted it. Didn't want to leave
Cons
Hours, they are retail hours so it is what it is. nights and weekends, long holidays. Can't expect anything different.
Pros
NIce employee discount of 50% to use at certain times of the month. Days off were given as long as requested before time.
Cons
I wish I had given the company another chance, instead of jumping at an opportunity that later did not work for me. The company lost a ton of managers at one time and then was left with someone who had thought it was ok to say berating things.
Pros
Loft has a great environment between clients and employees and always puts employees safety first.
Cons
The Visuals and Floorsets change very frequently and they don't maximize the time they have during each floorset.
Advice to Senior Management
I believe if you push hard you will go far at Ann Taylor.
Pros
DISCOUNTS!!! Great discounts and you get a credit card.I think it is a great perk.
Cons
Its a retail job so you work weekends and busy during the holidays.
Pros
really care about the clients and associates as a company
Cons
as management, needs to be a team
Advice to Senior Management
keep a team environment
