Pros
- 50% off discount!
- Great product.
- Associates are encouraged to really engage with customers. It's a lot more than just standing behind a cash register.
- I've worked with multiple really great managers.
Cons
- Too much focus on getting customers to open credit cards.
- All of the usual retail cons: on your feet all day, irate customers, etc.
Advice to Senior Management
Have practical expectations for what can be achieved in stores.
Pros
Values and friendly people team work and they all are coorpitive and have team outings and prizes and games and the discounts are great
Cons
low pay you cant talk about your salary and if you do you get fired and you get no bonuses
Pros
The 50% discount is great especially since they have a lot of nice professional, casual, and fashionable clothing, great for students. The flexibility is also great for students or if you're trying to make extra money. They promote well. Management is encouraging and helpful.
Cons
The stock room turns into the lunch room which is crowded and borderline dangerous, it makes it difficult to enjoy having lunch there. Some women who shop there ask for so much and will spend less than $50 because most of the items they pick up are sale. There is a lot or running around trying to service clients, which is very tiring especially under the bright lights.
Pros
Great people to work with
Great clients
Good work-life balance
Cons
Retail Hours
Retail Grade Pay
Some late hours
Pros
Good pay, company discount is valuable, people are nice, working with the clothes is fun.
Cons
Extra compensation and advancement is entirely tied to the number of people you sign up for the company credit card.
Pros
If you love clothing and working with fun clients
Cons
late nights, holidays, and no benefits
Advice to Senior Management

Pros

Generous discount(50%)
Cons
Not properly trainned
Revolving door
Associates not taking job seriously
Theft
Stress by District Mgr & Regional Mgr
Short/Last minute deadlines
Advice to Senior Management
Stop micro-managing
Relax!
Spend more time on training, then you wouldn't have to worry or work as hard
Hire people with good experience and maturity, instead of hiring people that have the "look"
Pros
They provide top of line technology. Generous employee discount.
Cons
I work in the factory division and we are given no respect. The rest of the company looks down upon factory division like we are the red-headed step children even though we are the ones bringing in all the revenue. Even though our sales our higher than the regular stores we get way less payroll hours!
Advice to Senior Management
Personally my DM did nothing. We could never reach her, she hardly ever visited the store. When I had a problem I was on my own to figure it out. Then we she would get yelled at by upper management she would lie to cover her own behind, not caring who she threw under the bus.
Pros
Cute clothes, nice discount, nice customers
Cons
The management is often very rude and doesn't treat sales associates with respect. Too many people hired so not enough hours are given to associates. The rules change all the time. What is a "rule" one week changes the next. Lots of pressure to open credit cards even when customer clearly doesn't want to do it. Management is often not on floor to help with sales, keeping floor organized, etc. Lots of theft by customers but there is never a limit on amt. customers can bring into a dressing room. This also contributes to a mess in the dressing rooms, and difficulty getting the clothes back to the floor. Never enough help for the amount of people that we are serving
Advice to Senior Management
Be respectful to your employees. Employees should get at least, if not more of a discount than the customers. Why can't employees get the same discount often given to customers??? Please give more hours. We clear our schedules and make time available to work, yet hours are minimal.
