    Pros

24/7 free membership, free personal training and an unmatched opportunity to change the lives of people in your community.

    Cons

Sales experience is a must. If it is hard for you to sell and/or ask for the sale you should not work in a position like this

    Pros

It's a company that demands that you care for your consumers. I absolutely love working for them because it has forced me to get out and really meet my community which has been a blast.

    Cons

Could always get paid more, but who couldn't! My only real complaint I think would be that they don't do enough marketing in my area and since there is a lot of competition, it's hard to draw in new members.

    Advice to Management

You're going to have to put money and effort into marketing since it is difficult to convince people to not go the the $10 a month gyms.

    Pros

Corporate office has a casual feel and is generally a fun place to work. Company is growing fast, so it's a great time to be involved with this company.

    Cons

Pay is not very competitive for the amount of work you're expected to complete. Benefits are good if you're single - expensive if you are married (w/ or w/o children). Time off is hard to earn and take (due to being in a busy workplace - hard to miss and make up work). Very difficult to advance into management, so most feel stuck at an associate level.

    Advice to Management

Put a system in place for associates to provide feedback on upper management.

    Pros

    *The members are amazing
*You can make the job and club what you want
*The corporate office is very organized and helpful
    *24 hour flexible for members

    Cons

*Long term agreements get members heated
*I worked for 2 different locations with 2 different owners. Both had pretty heavy sales goals but one owner got very overwhelming when they weren't meet.

    Advice to Management

Treating the members with respect is always going to help your business.

    Pros

Absolutely one of the best workforce I've have had the pleasure of working with. The company's goals are People, Passion, Pride, and Purpose! We're always trying to change the lives of our members and help them live a healthier lifestyle.

    Cons

Stricter ramification's need to be implemented to other franchisee owners who only give the brand name a negative connotation within there local community.

    Advice to Management

My advice to Corporate AF is to gather & review all data, cust. complaints, other AF franchisee complaints, then fine the owners for not following the PLEASE STANDARDS!

    Pros

Part time, set my own schedule, creative job, access to gym for personal work outs. Club manager is great to work with; he is my husband. Best of all working with the members and helping them get to a healthier place.

    Cons

The air conditioning is too cold, I have to wear a jacket unless I am teaching a cardio class. The club music sucks. Not enough hours to make a decent paycheck.

    Advice to Management

Upper management needs to improve communication with club manager, maybe it goes both ways. Either take a more active and disive part in daily/weekly management or hand over the business decisions to the general manager. I've been frustrated with situations; adequate business supplies for the club and a co-worker that chronically behaved badly toward members, guests and co-workers.
