I have been working at Aon Hewitt full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Salaried position. Lots of overtime for those who want to work a lot of hours. Good benefits; 401k, health, etc...

    Cons

As a returning employee, I was hopeful that they would be able to learn from past mistakes and improve their business model. The department has bitten off way more than they can chew with new business and have ridiculous expectations of sales staff to meet the Service Level Agreements. Morale is non-existent. Commission structure has changed just prior to a major selling season. Who does that?

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More transparency. Don't hole up in your management meetings and then try to deliver rosy messaging about how poorly prepared we are for our selling season. Let us know what is wrong so we can all work together to get a solution. So much effort is given to clean up mistakes and no clear attempts made to be proactive to put the department in a better situation. Everything is silo'd. No communication between departments. Quality doesn't work well with sales. Sales doesn't work well with Ops. Management doesn't work well with everyone.

I have been working at Aon Hewitt full-time

    Pros

The pay was good for a call center. Weekends off is always great! There is always help available from managers and coworkers as well. They have potlucks and other activities throughout the year to keep you motivated. Good Training.

    Cons

Everything is closely monitored as far as performance on calls. ATTENDANCE POLICY SUCKS, VERY STRICT ON ATTENDANCE and they do not work with schedules as far as school etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Being part of the Launch program was really cool and the success flashes of all recent Aon client wins are really inspiring

    Cons

This place is so insanely political. Office culture varies wildly depending on which location and department you're in, also they give absolutely insanely low vacation days,.
