    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get new management.

Our department in Jericho tolerates verbal abuse, unhealthy work/life balance, hostile work environment, and complacent leadership. We have had multiple meetings with a variety of different leaders in the department, and issues continually have gone unresolved. Many employees in the department, including this one, are actively looking for new employment opportunities. We have lost 25% of the department to voluntary turnover in one year and I predict that number increasing this year.

When employees have inquired about career development, we have heard the response "find a new job" as there are none in our department.

There is no formalized training, and the training that is conducted, management is not involved in any way besides determining who is to conduct the training.

Two employees have left for lesser paying jobs due to harassment from leadership and peers that have gone unpunished, or to remove themselves from the toxic work environment. Many employees who remain, work from home to avoid the workplace.
