    Pros

There are lots of opportunity to work at whatever volume of patient load you feel comfortable in handling. Adequate but not great pay.

    Cons

No real communication between ApolloMD administration and the ED physician and Mid Level Providers. Too much micro managing and constant badgering to increase production, even at the expense of patient care. Constantly walking the fine line of insurance fraud in their documentation.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your current contracts. Good quality, competent and compassionate care is your best advertisement.

    Pros

Learn a lot here so you can use ApolloMD to take your career to the next level, nice benefits, good hours for reps

    Cons

Employee moral is low, hard to qualify for bonuses, treat employees more like children than adults with all the new rules every week, hard to get raises, running out of space and everyone is sitting on top of each other.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like adults, give employees performances reviews for raises, create a better culture by giving your managers more training.

I worked at ApolloMD as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The administrative staff, recruting, credentialing were all pleasant and a pleasure with whom to work.
Scheduling was reasonable. Online tool made submitting requests and preferences easy.

    Cons

Challenges intrinsic to work environment and being an independent contractor for an ED contract management group.
Didn't feel much ownership of the environment due to structure.

  8. Unstable, questionable management support and poor job security

    Pros

Convenient to my situation at present
Schedule allows for young family needs
    Fair compensation
    Pleasant daily coworkers

    Cons

Poor management at the organizational level
Management does not communicate changes well
Promises made during the hiring process do not come to fruition
Questionable employer practices; hours cut, roles added then eliminated without thought
Uncomfortable with the amount of responsibility is given to mid level providers, increasing liability/anxiety on an already high volume physician workload

    Advice to Management

Improve planning process prior to implementing changes.
Improve administrative support to reduce ER v/s MEDICINE conflicts
    Reevaluate provider savings v/s quality
You may see talented professionals looking elsewhere very soon
