Nice pay, but dangerous work, and hypocritical executive level.

Maintenance/Shipping (Current Employee) Roaring Spring, PA

ProsVery good pay. Dedicated employees from mid-management down.

ConsDangerous work if you are in production or maintenance. Safety measures are relaxed by management when machines are causing down time. Upper management expects everyone else to "take one for the team," but they are above it all, and make no sacrifices for the betterment of the company. Executives always get caught up in the latest buzzwords and efficiency programs, but rarely follow through with results analysis. Business is in general decline with a number of closed locations in the last decade.

Advice to Senior ManagementPractice what you preach and lead by example for a change.

    – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Improving culture

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsBusiness is rebounding well post-recession. Pay and benefits are competitive. Management is working to improve people leadership. Progressive wellness culture.

Consindustry is sensitive to economic conditions and can experience downturns. limited upward mobility in my discipline given the size of the company.
