    Pros

Many opportunities. All the perks of a big company. The corporate culture is nothing fancy or cutting edge but it is stable and fair.

    Cons

Harder to implement change in the short run (in the business groups I worked). As with any large company there are a number of mid level contributor positions that don't seem to add value (again where I worked).

    Advice to Management

See the forest for the trees. FIND a way to contribute when your assigned goals are not completely within your control (this happens way more than you would believe).

    Pros

Good benefits, good salary, able to work remotely, The company does a lot for the community. AMAT offers tuition assistance. Bonuses twice a year.

    Cons

Once you are with the company and have proven yourself, the workload tends t be overwhelming. AMAT does not mind doing more with less. Work/life balance can be challenging.

    Advice to Management

Try to make sure all you employees have work life balance. This will help the turnover rate
