    Pros

The manager was very nice and accommodating. The job seemed like a good company to work for.

    Cons

I was constantly bullied by the lead on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

They seem to have forgotten that in health care, you're supposed to help people...

This place can only be described as "Train-Wreck!!'

    Pros

Organized training system online with testing.

    Cons

    Too numerous to mention here.

    Advice to Management

Off site customer service dept. does not care about supporting the needs of the customer AT ALL! Positions are under-paid and over-worked which results in a constant under-staffing situation and there is no accountability for the gaps in customer service and operations.

    Pros

There are a lot of good people who work here.

    Cons

Scheduled hours constantly changing without being asked if you want or can do that shift. Work space constantly changing, which makes it hard to get into a rhythm. Very high Attrition. Told you will be terminated because you made a mistake or you can't work the late hours you are being told is your new schedule. It's not a very nice environment to work in when you keep hearing from your colleagues and supervisors that they are afraid to loose their job. Employees have started to lash out at other employees because they afraid they won't make their quota or SLA and lose their job.

    Advice to Management

Instead of threatening people why not really promote a team culture to turn this company around. "Apria Cares" shouldn't only be a slogan for the customer but for the employees as well. If the employees feel cared about then they will pass it along to the customers they are serving.

    Pros

Leadership keep employees well informed of the changes within the industry and the plan for it. Always looking to stay ahead of the curve

    Cons

Billing and customer services in a centralized area proves challenging to the local customer.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the feedback from the field and act quickly. Workarounds shouldn't need to be used because of call center issues.

    Pros

Comparable pay, ever-evolving environment, hard working leadership, routine updates from senior leadership, customer centric processes, revenue based process implementations to ensure company growth and success

    Cons

Some agents come to only collect a paycheck, if every agent contributed the same effort, the environment would be 100 times improved but every organization faces similar challenges. Patients and referral satisfaction are a driving force but many coworkers lack the empathy and clinical knowledge to adequately service our customer base. Most employees blame leadership and not the ever changing and evolving environment of healthcare and the strict regulatory requirements of the government that drive the ability to serve our Medicare patient base to their satisfaction.

    Advice to Management

Fire the non producers and employees who fail to accept responsibility for their own inadequacy. If every employee considered every customer to be the person signing their check maybe they'd appreciate the need for conformance, compliance, and continued education.

    Pros

Absolutely none, everyone wishes there was one.

    Cons

Local management, next level and the one after that and so on. Poor communication, most everything for our customers and referral sources is "NO". Points for sales staff is non existent , no pay for the rep. Communication for documentation is worse than a bad bowl of spaghetti.

    Advice to Management

For go your commission and bonus, pass it on down to the branch level, you already make way too much $$$$$$$ for what you are doing. When the new team of consultants pass through you will be mention, rightly so. Look up bonus and commission apria on Internet.

    Pros

The pay was fairly decent for what I did.

    Cons

The got rid of all the good VPs at the Tempe CCCs and replaced them with non-caring leaders who had no clue.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees feedback, especially those who had been around for a while. We had to reinvent the wheel by trying things that had been done before.

  11. Apria at branch level was a nice place to work for, upper management(corp. office) only worried about the bottom line.
