I have been working at Arbonne International full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

I am a relatively new employee to the company but have been in my industry for a long time. Arbonne is a step above the rest! Friendly, helpful people in every department, who truly care about their jobs - many long-term employees (which says a lot about a company). Executives are warm and approachable and care about every employee - and it shows! People communicate with each other and there are no hidden agendas or people withholding information. Employees are brought into the loop on projects and initiatives and work in cross-functional teams and everyone's ideas are valued and appreciated. There is movement within the company if someone wants a change, and the company seems to want to fit people with their skills and needs so they can best perform. Lots of growth opportunities. Great products, great philosophy around product development and marketing. Realistic growth plans that are attainable with the dedication and work of the employees. The best is that they truly walk their own talk! If they say it, they do it! If you want to work hard, learn a lot, and make a career with a strong company where you will be valued and respected, then look no further.

    Cons

A lot of meetings! It's a pro in that people are truly able to know what is going on with a project, but you must be very skilled at time management to be able to work around the meetings and still get your work done as many projects are time sensitive. For someone who is used to sitting at a desk all day alone, this is probably not the place for you because they want interaction and your opinions and ideas do matter. (sorry - not really a con in terms of a corporate culture but if you don't want to be part of that then you may see it as such...)

I worked at Arbonne International part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

there is exponential opportunity to develop a network of clients, as well as leadership and management teams underneath yourself, as long as you are driven and organized.

    Cons

if the people you sell products to are not motivated or interested in becoming sales reps themselves, or you do not set up your own web page, you may not have much of a financial benefit short or long term, or be promoted very quickly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

perhaps there could be some way to have team incentives, and team promotions?

    Pros

Ok location close to the Spectrum. A few friendly colleagues in other departments.
Employee discount on products (...if you like the products)

    Cons

HR is horrible, it reflects the whole negative culture perpetrated by the CEO. Products are blah.
Power moves and finger pointing everywhere and one can't trust anyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop pushing good, caring people out. Stop hiring bullies with a resume to replace them.

I have been working at Arbonne International full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Arbonne is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where, in order to be successful, you need to be the type of person who is not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. It is a growing company that runs lean and most people wear many hats in their roles. Although some may find this a challenge, I look at this as an exciting thing because it offers exposure to many different tasks, projects and responsibilities that one may not have the opportunity to work on in a similar role with a larger organization. All levels of management I have had exposure to are open to suggestions for process improvements and advancements and understand what needs to happen to take Arbonne to the next level as we continue our global expansion.

Culturally, the company is big on health and wellness and offers lots of programs and incentives centered around the "Pure Transformation" initiative. The discount on products is excellent and there are lots of fun company events to attend including the Global Training Conference in Las Vegas every year.

I have grown leaps and bounds since joining Arbonne and feel very positive about the opportunity to continue to grow and advance my career here!

    Cons

It would be great to have remote work capabilities but it is generally understood that the business need does not allow for this at this time.

I have been working at Arbonne International full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good work environment and enough work to keep you busy. The transformation opportunities and care is awesome

    Cons

The changes in leadership in different departments has made it challenging to stay focused on direction as when new leadership takes place the direction may not always be consistent.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue with training and communication. Accountability will be key to driving our business to the next level

    Cons

I have been working at Arbonne International full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Their products are excellent and come with a nice discount.

    Cons

There is no such thing as a work life balance in Arbonne's IT group. Expectation-24x7, weekends/holidays. No bonus, no comp time. The entire IT group is completely dysfunctional, no one in the IT departments are empowered to do their job. The CIO is not interested in process, standards and overrides everyone to deliver less than quality products that fall short of stakeholder expectations and it's ok because he said so. Hostile work environment from the CIO down.
