Fantastic opportunity if you are willing to learn, grow, and work!

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsYou can set your own schedule, and decide how to focus your time. The products are wonderful, so they are fun to share. It is important to learn from your leadership, and go to the trainings and conferences. Overall positive experience.

ConsIt is a commitment you need to stick to. There is some investment involved, so be prepared to spend money to earn money. How fast you earn is up to you.

    Greatest MLM I've found

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGreat training, great teams who support each other, work-life balance

ConsMy market was saturated in my area.

Advice to Senior ManagementFind a way for newer consultants to make money faster. As a new consultant who loves Arbonne's products I wanted to share their products with everyone I knew - the problem was that there were literally hundreds of Arbonne consultants within a 50 mile radius of where I lived.

    Horrible Upper Management

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

    Pros- Great Discount
    - Some departments work well together but very minimal.

Cons- If you're not a "Yes Man" you won't last. If you don't agree with upper management, they'll find a way to get rid of you.
    - Horrible CEO.
    - Poor benefits
    - A lot of finger-pointing.

Advice to Senior Management- Get rid of your CEO and Upper Management. They bring in people that used to work at the same company so it's like you're working for that company rather than Arbonne.
    - Don't consider Arbonne at all. They'll make it seem like it's a great work environment bu it's not. High turn-over especially in Marketing.

    Pyramid Company of Independent Consultants

    Independent Consultant (Former Employee)
    Westport, CT

    ProsNo experience necessary
Make your own hours, but must be full time to make money
    Free Training
    Online order process and tracking

ConsFew people want to host home parties or join the business.
You have to meet a monthly quota of products and have people join as consultants underneath you.
People avoid you because the company philosophy is to bombard everyone you know or come in contact with about Arbonne.
Not many people purchase again, they mainly buy because a friend or family member hosted.
You have to give 8 presentations a month but there is no guarantee on the about bought at a party.
Most people only buy one product which is only $400 per party and of that you only make 20%.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrain people, help new consultant overcome obstacles,

    On the right track

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Irvine, CA

    Pros-Great co-workers
-Focused on employee well-being, especially in terms of being healthy
    -Product discounts
    -Health-oriented competitions

Working here can be good or bad depending on your department. Finance is definitely the best department to be in, accounting can be good depending on who you're under, and marketing is a disaster. High turnover in marketing due to poor leadership and terrible hires in senior/management marketing roles.

    Cons-Below average compensation
    -Weak 401k match
    -Lack of project managers
    -No real incentives

Has been steadily improving but there are still a lot of holes to plug. IT has been a huge problem but the new systems and testing should help completely fix that area, hopefully. Nothing really exciting to do outside of work (no fun employee events).

Advice to Senior ManagementStop pinching pennies and missing dollars. Overall the company is mediocre in terms of providing incentives or perks to its employees.

HIgh Quality products with well intentioned management

    Regional Vice President (Former Employee)

Prosproud to represent this top of the line product in the DSA
management is focused on growth which benefits consultants
reputation in the Direct Selling Association is positive
They try to do right by their consultants

ConsNeed to find consistent leadership and direction and stick with it. I think the leadership or at least the people who were "in charge" changed every 12 months. Even if the names stayed the same, the agendas seemed to change. Also corporate management is not very transparent. Seems closed off, almost secretive.
