    Pros

For Pharma, its a relatively small company, which is nice.

    Cons

A lot is expected of TMs with very little reward. It's very unorganized and inconsistent with expectations.

    Pros

Great people and management. Very upbeat and helpful. Great team unity.
Really liked working for them but was downsized

    Cons

Pharma sales is getting harder and harder with things like obamacare and sunshine act and big hospitals buying up drs offices.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is truly doing all they can at this company to help you succeed. Its just a tough industry right now

Senior management takes a very arrogant approach to FDA guidelines, and employees are not valued for their contributions

    Pros

Perhaps a company for someone just graduating, however, Arbor is not the best example of how this industry operates.

    Cons

Because this company is privately held, the senior management feels as though they operate by a different set of rules than any other Pharma company. They do the "wink" approach that they fly "under the radar" to any chance of being caught for unapproved marketing pieces and/or off label promotion. The company benefits are absolutely terrible and expensive, and the salaries are far below industry standards. In addition they do not promote from within. There is no where to go with Arbor Pharma

    Pros

Health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, etc.) are on par with a mid to large pharma company
    Decent 401K Plan

    Cons

Lower salaries compared with similar roles at other companies
    Micromanagement
    Weak product pipeline
Upward mobility (aka career growth) is non-existent
    Upper Management disconnected with employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start treating employees with dignity and respect.
Buying other companies drugs only gets you so far, so more investment in R&D would make sense.

    Pros

Great opportunity to get in on the ground floor and truly have an impact on the company and its customer base. Collaborative work environment. Professional Development a key component of the group.

    Cons

Slowly growing company. Somedays may be slower than others. May need to look for additional assignments to work on.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to keep employees engaged by complete involvement.

    Pros

Great people at all levels with strong ethics and passion for what they do. Small company means a closer connection to other functions and teams.

    Cons

Distrust and lack of respect for sales force at the highest level means a lot of micromanagement. Very high expectations without the corresponding higher pay. They are still figuring it out and have caused some confusion in strategy as well as managed care.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
