Good job to start off your work experience. Compared to other fast good restaurants. Pretty clean.

    I worked at Arby's

    Pros

Flexible scheduling and easy shifts. Not open 24/7 like mcdonalds. Easy menu.

    Cons

Having to wear a uniform. Working around some grease and oil though not as bad as others.

  2.

I loved the experience but didn't like the General Manager.

    I worked at Arby's full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

They offer great benefits, bonuses and schedule flexibility. Offers development from with in classes to expand your business knowledge and development.
Promotions are available up to a certain level, the higher you go, the harder it is to get a promotion.

    Cons

Swing shifts can be hard, if employees do not show up you must stay and cover until a solution is found.
It is difficult to find dependable employees that are okay with working 29 hours or less per week while receiving minimum wage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow management to pay higher than minimum wage. Many times we lose great employees to higher paying jobs, many of them offering full time.

I have been working at Arby's full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Fast paced atmosphere, some of the people are pretty awesome to work with. They have an awesome training program.

    Cons

You're working with mostly high school or uneducated, older individuals who may not have a great work ethic because its fast food and they don't take the job seriously.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Honestly nothing. If you keep open communication with your uppers you won't have an issue for the most part. Everyone is human.

The management and crew believe in team work and use it to benefit great service to the customers.

    Cons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure the higher up management in store really wants to be in that position and not doing it for the pay and bonuses.

I have been working at Arby's full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I work at a "special" Arby's downtown in Richmond; Monday-Friday, hours pretty much set, decent pay and benefits (though they cost $$$).

    Cons

Management and communication is very much lacking. No room for advancement. No raises, no matter how long you've been an employee. Rarely allowed any sick days (even though they're unpaid).
