    I worked at Arby's full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great food, small company feel, and you can make an impact. The training program is pretty good. Franchisees and Corporate collaborate as opposed to having an adversarial relationship.

    Cons

The menu is complicated, which can be difficult on new team members. The lack of density in terms of the number of stores (~4000), resulting in fewer advertising dollars, can make it difficult to create and communicate break thru messages to consumers.

    I worked at Arby's part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

scheduling was very flexible, appropriate amount of training with materials, fun atmosphere. Overall not a terrible place to work your way through college.

    Cons

no advancement opportunities, shady corporate promises, none existing benefits. They'll say they offer health insurance but it's literally one of the worst policies out there. The premiums are too high for what little is covered.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I recommend not making promises you have no intention of keeping. Also, don't try to seek retribution against employees who quit to pursue other careers.

    I worked at Arby's

    Pros

Flexible scheduling and easy shifts. Not open 24/7 like mcdonalds. Easy menu.

Having to wear a uniform. Working around some grease and oil though not as bad as others.

    I worked at Arby's full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

They offer great benefits, bonuses and schedule flexibility. Offers development from with in classes to expand your business knowledge and development.
Promotions are available up to a certain level, the higher you go, the harder it is to get a promotion.

    Cons

Swing shifts can be hard, if employees do not show up you must stay and cover until a solution is found.
It is difficult to find dependable employees that are okay with working 29 hours or less per week while receiving minimum wage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow management to pay higher than minimum wage. Many times we lose great employees to higher paying jobs, many of them offering full time.

I have been working at Arby's

    Pros

Easy to get a job here, very little work experience needed. Worked with very nice people.

    Cons

Low pay, no opportunity to advance, benefits to entry level employees pretty much non-existent, those that did exist where pretty meager.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Provide all of the uniform to your employees, including shoes. I get it, its fast food, employees are supposed to be dispensable as possible, but when you want me to buy 50 dollar shoes for a job that pays so little, it's kind of ridiculous.
