I have been working at Archer full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Archer bought Allis Chalmers, so the people that I worked with were still family like. Lots of available growth opportunities as well.

    Cons

No communication from the higher ups. Many poor business decisions causing many good employees to be let go. They seem to have a reactive approach rather than a proactive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with your employees. I can nearly guarantee that all of them are very unsure of their job status and how long they will be employeed for. Also, treat the companies money as if it were your own. Dont just spend to spend.

I have been working at Archer full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I have flexibility in my work hours and can work from home when life requires, so work/life balance is great.

    Cons

MAJOR lack of communication at all levels. I've been with the company for more than 2 years and there has been no corporate vision or unified sense of direction & purpose. The new CEO hasn't communicated anything to the company, at large. Too many changes in senior management. Too many changes in job responsibilities with no communication of who is doing what. Too many ERP systems and too little IT support causes gross inefficiencies. No room to grow - no promotional opportunities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Embrace transparency and communication!
