    Pros

friendly co workers and great customers work with little to no supervision

    Cons

artic gives false hope to their employees by promising raises to 15hr plus commission and yearly bonuses for performance and at the end of the season oh we cant do that now. other cons is low hours in winter and having to use vacation time to make up for lost hours

    Advice to Management

follow thru with your promises to employees after all we are the back bone of your company with out us. arctic glacier would fail and go out of business

    Pros

Independent driving with little supervision. Ability to make alot of overtime within the seasonal window and then you get to move on.

    Cons

Seasonal drivers are just workdogs. Poor communication, abysmal routing efficiency, bad customer service results in employee frustration. Equipment is subpar and in short supply creating employee infighting.

    Advice to Management

Listening to peeps in the field regarding customer needs would increase revenue. Ditch the software designed for Pepsi; ice products far more volatile and subject to weather factors compared to soda products.

  8. Company is run by incompetent executive management

    Pros

    It's a job in a tough economy.

    Cons

Poor sales routing software resulting in poor customer satisfaction.
Mid-level managers all the way up to the Executive level have made and continue to make un-ethical and immoral business decisions daily, thereby resulting in poor employee moral.

    Advice to Management

Executive management needs to understand what the product is; BRAND NAME means nothing to the customer, it all comes down to PRICE and SERVICE. Everyone with an ice maker is the competition, from the home refrigerator with an icemaker to fast food restaurants like Arby’s and Burger King who sell bags of ice.
    Do a SWOT analysis.

    Pros

The people are friendly for the most part. Minimal structure means you have a lot of free time on your hands. Casual dress code.

    Cons

No opportunity for advancement. Pay is well below industry standard. Seems like everyone in a management position is related. Rarely give positive or negative feedback.

    Advice to Management

Talk to your employees about what they want improved. Create policies for the company so management can't just create rules as they go along.

    Pros

you can get over time and you do get a good work out and you do get free ice when you work there

    Cons

they like to push you to work over time but then say you cant be doing that much need to cut back then when you do thay tell you not to

    Advice to Management

keep the hard workers working and get rid of the ones that dont the ones that mack the comp. money are the ones you want to work not the ones that keep hours down
