I have been working at Aria Systems (CA) full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Great leadership, excellent benefits, terrific forum for the best and the brightest. Terrific for customers, partners and prospects to have access to support and services earlier in the day and later in the night, because of multiple offices is different time zones. Amazing partnerships that deliver.

    Cons

Can't think of any! Aria has made a great niche for themselves and innovated the marketplace like no other.

I worked at Aria Systems (CA) (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Small company where you'll get notice, and that's where the problem lies.

    Cons

Promotions are based on tenure because folks who are there for many yr end up getting promoted over others who are relatively new. Look up "Peter Principle" and you'll know what I mean.

No raises because they want to brainwash you with stock. Don't fall for it becsuse your shares are worth next to nothing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Retain the good people don't let them leave. Get rid of dead weight, folks who don't have any other place to go. These folks bring the company down because they think they're untouchable.

    Pros

I dont see any pros at Aria.

    Cons

Work culture is pathetic. There are no working hours there. company expects you to work all the time. definitely if you are taking a job there then be ready to work over weekends all the time + 10 hours everyday.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They should revise their management structure. Non deserving candidates are on higher positions. The whole IT structure is a mess.

I have been working at Aria Systems (CA) full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Small, startup company feel to the work environment
    Contributions recognized and rewarded
    Fun to work there

    Cons

Workload and frequent crisis's make life stressful
Product management changes their priorities every few months, major priorities at the start of the year are completely forgotten now
Codebase is a mess from the many different developers over the years

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Invest more time and resources into improving the core product. Frantically fixing bugs and adding new features is going to come back to bite you someday.

I worked at Aria Systems (CA) full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Had lots of potential to disrupt the market. Product/Engineering team was strong.

    Cons

Lack of leadership, experience & vision from CEO. Marketing was not effective.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more flexible on pricing offerings and be more dynamic/involved like Zuora's CEO. Company it top heavy with VPs and not enough in the field. Sales engine is all wrong. Successful SaaS companies have 3-5 outbound prospecting SDRs for each closing sales rep to fill the funnel.
