I have been working at Aricent full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

good opportunity to enhance technical learning ,
    flexible timing.

    Cons

worst senior management, listen everyone about employee problems but no one do any action upon same.
senior technical experts are less knowledgeable , managers are pathetic, managers have no idea how to handle big work in limited time, worst employee rating in appraisal, too much politics , favoritism .
pay less with more and more work, no work life balance at all, 6 day full time working when u have bad senior.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

please not only to employee ,but do also some +ve actions.
    pay more as work .

I worked at Aricent full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Only good if want to learn anything at startup of your carrier.
few of the option present in the NCR region

    Cons

    below market salary.
    biased and favourtism.
    penny thief company.
    no recognition of work.
in other organisation if you gain experience , you will be rewarded with position and job security, however in aricent very slow growth untill somebody known to you at top and about security you should be ready with your baggage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

company seems to be running with very narrow vision, only growth will come once you show
appetite for risk, rather than saving penny from employee, try to get better project.

I have been working at Aricent full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

As a fresher you get plenty of time as you wont have any work. You can enhance your table tennis skills in the meantime.

    Cons

They train the freshers for 3 months on stuffs which are not required in actual project.
In the project you wont get actual work for even months. If you are smart, you will hate this.
They have enough work but they wont assign anything to fresher.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are under work pressure even after having this large workforce then seriously there is something wrong in management.

My time in Cisco TAC process at Aricent

I have been working at Aricent full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The only reason that people will want to work in Aricent (Cisco TAC), is that they get to work on Cisco Technology.

    Cons

    + Little to no benefits
    + No differentiation between over-achievers and under-achievers.
+ Management has no interest in welfare of employees.
+ Bad culture, there have been several incidents of people caught drunk in the campus or watching porn.
+ Bad food served in cafeteria. There is a garbage dump just behind the building, and the campus reeks of filth.
+ No real parking, lifts that fail randomly. Over all very bad building.

You should join this company if and only if, you truly have no other option in life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

+ Stop hiring people, who are not engineers. The hiring should be based on how well an individual approaches a problem, not how well they speak American accent.
+ The management is so uptight and sees no reasoning.
+ I know that Cisco TAC process is outsourced, but it is not a BPO. You guys need to stop treating it like that.
+ Cisco pays for our incentive every month and you guys withhold the incentive for 9 months. How shameless can one be.
+ And then, the employee is denied his incentive if he resigns before the 9 months are over.
+ You create backdated policies, when half the year has already passed.
+ Signing bonds. Our fore fathers died so we can live freely, however, you people are more than happy to bind people into service and that to legally.
+ Three months notice period, why? Do you think people will not leave, if you force us to serve such a huge notice period.

    Cons

PES Products Mobile Domain team managements are not upto the mark.
This teams vision is very poor.
Management has no good experience in managing a team.
They cannot keep their team happy.
The Director of the team has no technical knowledge, he always asks technical staff to take open source code and use it to do some thing.

Before the US corp office was closed, US employees enjoyed a great 401K match and good salaries.
