I have been working at Arista full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The opportunity to learn in a fast pace environment and the ability to have your voice heard and ideas implemented is always an important aspect for those starting off in their careers.

    Cons

All growing companies suffer through growing pains, Arista is no exception. Streamlining the workforce is an ongoing struggle as Arista.

Run for the hills - don't waste your time here. I wouldn't wish employment here on any of my enemies.

I worked at Arista full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Because it is a small company, you are able to "wear a lot of hats" and do more than the standard requirements.

    Cons

    - Employees are undervalued.
    - Managers micromanage their employees (employees have to write what they do every hour, cannot talk to other people in other departments, get in trouble if you go over your break time by one minute, etc).
    - Salaries are way below market value - think minimum wage. They never give raises either, so don't bother asking.
    - No "real" programs are used for work. Programs used here aren't used by other companies, so when you are looking for other jobs, the experience you learn here are useless.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If management can't pay employees decent wages, they should at least do other things to make their employees happy and want to work there so the turnover rate isn't so high.

I worked at Arista full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Will hire and train you if you have no experience. If you are Chinese that is a HUGE bonus to them.

    Cons

Low pay. Starting is $10 even with experience maybe $11.
Upper management doesn't have a clue what's going on.
Was shunned for taking a breaks.
Hr and management are the same people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want your employees to stay you should treat them better and pay them more.

I worked at Arista full-time for less than a year

    Pros

If you have absolutely no experience, they will hire and train you to assemble PCs.

    Cons

Ridiculously low pay. You can make more at some fast food chains. They dont care about you and in my short time there the morale of employees was very low. Everyone complained about their wages and I cant fault them on that.

Also, it felt like I was working in a third world country. Everyone spoke in Chinese and some workers will talk crap behind your back in Chinese. Management? What management? HR people are the bosses.
