    Pros

    I had the greatest boss in the world. I left after they laid him off.

    Cons

    Sr mgmt. has no gaming experience and are proud of the fact. They make ridiculous decisions. Only Australian yes men get promoted. You worked daily wondering if today was the day you would get made "redundant"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get some people with US gaming experience and listen to them. Get rid of they Ozzy yes boys.

    Global company
    Reasonable pay
    Some really good workers

    Cons

    Highly political environment
    Senior management (ELT) are highly dysfunctional with a lot of personal infighting.
    The CFO is a corporate psychopath and a passive agressive bully.
    Line managers just tow the company line
    Senior management are no genuine about constructive debate--there way or the highway.
    Very high levels of staff turn over
    Low moral
    Far too many ex-IGT cast offs--they trashed IGT and now they are trashing Aristocrat.

    no really advise to management, but advice to the board is to consider replacing some of your senior management

    Excellent at the beginning BUT?

    Pros

    People you work with directly, pay was decent, usually got requested time off (except for certain busy periods)

    Cons

    Management is horrible now. Like mentioned before, a rudderless titanic and all ship bosses are clueless. Scared to make a decision for fear of reprisal. Good ole boy mgt. workers are burning out from stress.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Remember what you preached, it starts from the top. Fire yourselves you incompetent baboons. You have no problem blaming others and firing them but your incompetence goes unchallenged out of fear of reprisal.

    Pros

    This company has wonderful culture and working environment. They have Flexible office timings. The location of office is very nice and approachable. They have very good leave system.

    Cons

    This company does not have any learning curve. Everybody is doing the same and repetitive work. One shall feel Job insecurity within the organization as they keep on hiring and firing people. The resources are badly managed. They have highly inefficient management of resources

    Pros

    - Works on the latest technologies in the IT world.
    - Good work life balance.
    - Good paymaster in the product company category in NCR region.
    - Good company for lesser experienced people - plenty to learn and growth options.

    Cons

    - Some political and incapable people in the management. Though it has improved considerably from the past.
    - Pays insanely unjustified salaries to some older employees no matter if they are not much value.
    - Attrition has picked up since recently.

    - Concentrate on keeping good talented engineers and do not just focus on management only.
    - Manages under-performing engineers well and same should be done for under-performing leaders/managers.

    Decent Company as a whole, good benefits and pretty work space/toilets

    Cons

    Depending where you work aka department (not a small group the entire department) you will need to deal with marginally qualified micro managers. They have a cult like behavior pushed from their managers who pretty push all responsibilities down and blame team members for all the mishaps. You can do 1000 extra things but when you miss 1 thing in the 1000 items you get shamed.

    Limited career advancement as much of hiring/work is planned in India. This implies you may be working 2 jobs in 1. The US timezone and also later during the day

    When people started leaving it was already late, time is of the essence

    Talented staff (but their creativity is crashed by beaurocracy and envy)
    Great CEO

    Cons

    Personal vendetta allowed, cultural freedom is almost forbiden. Personal envy prevails, it seems that everyone fears at least one other person in the company.
    Performance reviews are superficial and vague, with no recorded peer or management feedback (only a score).
    Bulling is part of business, and somehow cultured.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Respecting cultural differences, respecting each other and encouraging freedom to create may help. Problem is, these concepts are foreign to the management.
    Implement a formal performance review that records peer and management feedback in writing, on the Intranet, and can be audited. Down-up and sideway reviews are constructive too.
