    Pros

I have been working at ArjoHuntleigh since the they started the inside sales team in July 2014.
    Pros include:
Great Pay - the base salary is higher then most inside sales jobs and the commission is structured for large payouts which are easy to hit if you put in the work.
Easy going work environment /management - if you have questions, management is more than happy to help and are easily accessible.
Growth - due to being a new inside team, we are growing quickly which makes it easier to move up into more leadership roles.

    Cons

When the team first formed, it was difficult to find answers and took awhile to get everything we needed which is part of all growing pains. The issues are a lot less common and everything is now at our disposal.

    Pros

Unlimited overtime,a lot of time to yourself on the road, you work with good customers that you value as people.

    Cons

Poor products, management changes every couple of years, the company relies on products that have been around for years with no sign of anything new to offer the customers thus making it hard to compete for new business, sales is in another state, customers just don't like the product line compared to other companies.

    Advice to Management

Get new products, downsize the size of the service center space you have, get employees motivated through change, get a better system for placing and closing out orders that is customer friendly, and get rid of the overseas call center.

The Company has competitive compensation with great Benefits!

    Cons

Relatively new to the Rental Specialty Hospital Bed Business. The implementing of New ideas as well as Company Operating Computer Programs. This has made the transition of acquired Rental Business a challenge for personnel and customers!

    Advice to Management

Listen to the front line employees and try to make appropriate changes!

    Pros

    Treated fairly upon lay off

    Cons

Not one moment without chaos in over 2 years. Customer issues with constant billing errors, not billing, closing service centers and becoming a commodities company division. Employees - constant re-adjustments in pay due to billing errors, account assignments, territory re-alignments, lack of programs to sell, lost national contracts due to higher ups not knowing the product line, managers deadlocked and not given any say on issues, communications from the field were never heard. Constant changes in leadership and in major departments at corporate such as contracting and finance.

    Advice to Management

For the sake of my remaining peers, I hope they turn the business around.

    Pros

Flexibility, upper level support, great pay for performance plan. This company is in a great position for growth if the proper strategy is put in place and executed on.

    Cons

Work load, silo'd. Besides that it is a great company to work for. I really believe this company is in a great position in 2015

    Advice to Management

Make sure you keep a pulse on your employees, the market and most inportantly our customers.

    Pros

Have your own vehicle, tools are provided, and you get to interact with people. Set your own schedule.

    Cons

No room for personal growth and lack of opportunities. There's no team effort, everyone is in it for themselves including management. A lot of lies and gossiping behind each others backs including management.

    Advice to Management

Need to hire management that already has good leadership skills.

    Pros

If you play politics right, you can get promoted.

Some opportunity for global travel due.

    Cons

Extreme hours are an understatement. All-nighters were a common practice with 60-140 hour work weeks for many employees.

Ethical dilemmas. Senior management would fake revenue to make the company look better than it was. Financials are altered consistently to make the books balance and on numerous occasions, to falsify company financials to look better than they actually are.

Poor quality of human capital. Many employees graduated from some schools. While this is not a bad thing, most were unable to comprehend important elements of their jobs because they never learned it.

    Advice to Management

    Do not falsify records.

Limit work hours to <60 per week.

Hire people with backgrounds from larger companies and/or large universities vs. small colleges with associates degrees at night.
