    Pros

    Treated fairly upon lay off

    Cons

Not one moment without chaos in over 2 years. Customer issues with constant billing errors, not billing, closing service centers and becoming a commodities company division. Employees - constant re-adjustments in pay due to billing errors, account assignments, territory re-alignments, lack of programs to sell, lost national contracts due to higher ups not knowing the product line, managers deadlocked and not given any say on issues, communications from the field were never heard. Constant changes in leadership and in major departments at corporate such as contracting and finance.

    Advice to Management

For the sake of my remaining peers, I hope they turn the business around.

    Pros

Have your own vehicle, tools are provided, and you get to interact with people. Set your own schedule.

    Cons

No room for personal growth and lack of opportunities. There's no team effort, everyone is in it for themselves including management. A lot of lies and gossiping behind each others backs including management.

    Advice to Management

Need to hire management that already has good leadership skills.

    Pros

If you play politics right, you can get promoted.

Some opportunity for global travel due.

    Cons

Extreme hours are an understatement. All-nighters were a common practice with 60-140 hour work weeks for many employees.

Ethical dilemmas. Senior management would fake revenue to make the company look better than it was. Financials are altered consistently to make the books balance and on numerous occasions, to falsify company financials to look better than they actually are.

Poor quality of human capital. Many employees graduated from some schools. While this is not a bad thing, most were unable to comprehend important elements of their jobs because they never learned it.

    Advice to Management

    Do not falsify records.

Limit work hours to <60 per week.

Hire people with backgrounds from larger companies and/or large universities vs. small colleges with associates degrees at night.

    Pros

Some good people are still left.

    Cons

Had a complete lack of strategy. They purchase companies, suck the cash out without any investment, and layoff to cut cost as they lose revenue. Products are old and tired. See comment about leadership below. It's depressing to work at a place that is managing the downward spiral. Everyone I respect and trust there is looking.

    Advice to Management

Recent turnover at top good, but still need to reassess leadership. Too much activity is around self preservation so executives don't take risks or invest in the future.

    Pros

    Not a bad pay rate

    Cons

Management is clueless and never showes up at service centers.

    Advice to Management

Shoe up at service centers more than once in a year. The employees are ripping you off in overtime for hours not worked.

    Pros

    great before Arjo took over
Huntleigh was very patient and safety oriented! alot of on going good training and a team that really looked out for their employees and and it was a great atmosphere!! decent work / life balance back then too!!!! all good until Arjo took over then it all changed.

    Cons

Arjo management steps in and purchases Huntleigh and then rearranges how things get done, They changed procedures and began taking shortcuts in my territory. This left the ability to provide 100% clean, ready, tested and patient ready product impossible. Too many calls to properly address the issue. I stepped up after 4+ weeks of this and reported it to senior management ( after numerous attempts to resolve it with my immediate supervisor) it helped, I did the right thing I lost my job due to supervisor retaliation, but Arjo upper management did make changes . At least the patients got what what they should have gotten all along, Too bad at my expense by loosing my job.But I would not change a thing!!! THE PATIENTS COME FIRST.................

    Advice to Management

Be fair and get the mentality that the PATIENTS SAFETY is most important!! stop the shortcuts and be fair to those that report bad management and deal with it correctly! Terminating any employee for reporting safety and OSHA violations by bad management should not be tolerated!!
