    Pros

Higher pay than most retail stores. Cool staff, and a very chill relaxed environment. Managers are very friendly and respectful.

    Cons

The commission process is very confusing and its hard to make a substantial amount. Meeting sales goals is very annoying.

    Pros

There were talented people within the company.

    Cons

My job duties were a mixture of production and merchandising but there were pre-production and production departments. It became confusing on what my responsibilities should be, especially when compared to other companies.

    Advice to Management

    Define the roles more clearly

    Pros

    Free clothing
Good discount if u actually like their clothing. (50-75%)
    My paycheck never bounced...

    Cons

Overworked with unbelievable amount of pressure to sell for minimum compensation. No commission, instead you get less than 1% incentives.
Management makes u competitive against other sales associates rather than working together for the greater good of customer and company. Shouting matches has actually occurred on the sales floor because of this.
You have to wear their clothes! Everything! So when u r hired, your given two items free... If you a girl u can choose two dresses to hold u over til your patcgecj so u can use it to buy more work clothes
Not fair at all. My worst retail experience and i was a top sales person there.. I was treated somewhat well because of this, and because I wore heels & make-up. Imagine how the mediocre and poor sales people felt. And girls who didn't pretty themselves up were treated as an extra on set...

    Advice to Management

I know you are as stressed as your employees are, but it cost absolutely nothing to remain human & allow yr staff to do so as well. This job isn't that important to the contribution to mankind to be this uptught

    Pros

Great team of designers. Sharing ideas across product categories creates cohesive collections. Strong and clear seasonal direction given from above without being stifling.

    Cons

Long term transition period of upper management. Little to no raises and promotions during the transition. Ongoing corporate restructuring.

    Advice to Management

Finalize the restructure so that employees can regain a sense of security. Appreciate the strong assets that remain at the company for higher employee retention.

    Pros

    Nice store layout.
    Good employee discounts.
    Friendly management.
Starting pay can be better than other stores like Macy's. (Put a higher pay on your app)

    Cons

Our store (Ala Moana, Honolulu) does Not have a restroom.
    Long closing hours during seasonal.
A/C shuts off when the store closes, so you're still working (back stock, etc.) with the hot lights beaming on you.

    Pros

The discount is cool. 75% off full priced merch five times a month but 30% off all the other times. Used to be 50%. I

    Cons

Management is actually kinda terrible, coming from corporate. And don't expect a raise anytime soon.

    Advice to Management

You get what you pay for, don't complain about your employees lack of ambition if you don't give them hours or a raise after four years.
