I have been working at Armani full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

If you ever work for Armani you will see things you thought you would never see happening on a luxury boutique. No matter the experience you have with other companies, they are so stubborn that what ever you try to improve or help with, it will always be wrong. Wrote this as a pro because I cant wait to move on to a different company and value just a simple smile.

    Cons

Training, delegating, motivating, trusting their employees are words that do not exist.
The Company is criticized by the management constantly in a disrespectfully bad way.
It might be my own experience and other stores could have a lot better ambience but even upper management is very hard to approach.

If only Mr. Armani knew all this!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not hire high profile staff that are more experienced, have better manners, customer relations and a long etc... than the Store Manager. Insecurities and ego issues are not strong aspects of a Team Leader.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
  6.

Current Employee - Retail Associate in Orchard (Singapore)

I have been working at Armani part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Comfortable attire for us, and a good connection in between different branches to transfer stock or manpower when necessary.

    Cons

The stocks in departmental stores tend to be smaller and messier. Not to mention comparing boutiques and departmental store opening and closing times differ. In contrast with other stand alone brand, the arrangement of the stocks tend to make workers life difficult to find a piece of apparel effectively.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To include commission for part-timers as well for motivation.

    Recommends

    Approves of CEO
