    Pros

A sales career is not an easy task. If you pay the price and work hard, success will be yours. I did it at Armchem Internationational. I earn 6 figures income and still growing.

    Cons

This is not a job position, it is a career opportunity and you need to build it.

    Pros

Great money, recession proof sales no limited territories. Great products and selling things that people buy over and over again.

    Cons

Long hours but they are needed to be great. Cold calling is not fun. .but boy it builds up your skills for life.

    Advice to Management

More training on products but all around a+

    Pros

None...good recruiting pitch to get you to join.

    Cons

Andy Brahms is in completed control of everything and often overrides his department heads to satisfy the needs of his veteran employees, which he teats like crap anyways..do not walk, but run instead of applying or taking a position with this company...it is poison!!

    Pros

At first they treat you well and you're the best. If you do not open one new client every day you are out. The training they offer is not designed for this market. Paper products and chemicals are overprized .

    Cons

This is a company that will offer training that is 40 years old . They charge for the ice brakers , catalogs , product and sales prices are 3 times higher than the competition.

You have to start cold calling on B2B customers . Managers come with you and every new customer they say they were. All major customers are controlled by managers .

there are other opportunities in companies that are serious and that you can actually grow without the pressure of having to open new accounts lying about the quality of the products.

    Advice to Management

They must allow managers to make decisions for the growth of the territory. The owner has to be openminded and let the rules are the same for both Sales Representative and veterans.

We are the epitome of a 'one call close' company and we do rely on cold calling. Our outside reps are trained on demonstrating our products so there is no room for deceit. Our products do exactly ... More

    Pros

none, It really isn't a job

    Cons

Said I would be servicing account base, had no accounts in my area, basically cold calling to create new business for them. Why wouldn't I just get my own catalog of products to drop ship like they are?

    Pros

No cap on earnings. If u are willing to pay the price in time and committment great place to have a career.

    Cons

It's a performance based career. No one overlooking you or micro-managing you. If u have very little discipline don't bother to apply. Only for truly motivated sales pros.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

No pros at all. Just bad business all around

    Cons

Just google armchem and look at the number of complaints. Its true that the trainer is a chain smoker. They will hold your paycheck for 90 days after you leave the company. The products dont work and the sales process is old school. This company is a joke DO NOT waste your time and money. Just search the company name and you will see. They are not registered with the BBB for a reason

    Advice to Management

You cant get away with doing people wrong forever. Do right by your employ ees former and current and the bad comments will stop

  10. Very little support for new hires. Trainer was a chain smoker who couldn't sell. Communication wasn't the best.

    Pros

Lots of products, Opportunity to earn what you are worth and to sell to all types of businesses. Selling cosumable products is the ONLY way to go.. you have customers for life.

    Cons

Hard work, but good for the soul. Face to face selling you can run into some people who don't want to see you, but there are plently more that do.
