    Pros

Bus pass and nominee bus pass. Weekly wages. Christmas bonus.

    Cons

New drivers are on a lower rate, so any silly reason and you can be sacked, management are crap, no respect for drivers, the standarts we had 6 years ago are gone

    Advice to Management

Start respecting drivers and also senior drivers, they are the driving force behind your profits.

    Pros

extra 10 days of holiday I earn't through loyalty, other than that it's very difficult to remember anything else good apart from the people I worked with

    Cons

Dealing with an Ops Director that regularly lied, promised the earth then denied what he said, and together with the MD set about destroying the network, selling depots and dropping wages for their own bonuses. Destabilizing the company by allowing competitors to grow handing them established routes. As a GM my comparable wage to other Arriva op cos was rubbish and without my OWN car would have been unable to complete my duties.

    Advice to Management

Keep to your word and value your staff

    Pros

WAS a great company to work for.

    Cons

too many very bad people with a title, they call them managers

    Advice to Management

sort out the day for day running and reduce the amount of managers that just turn up and BULLY the staff but when asked for advice, have to go to this meeting or another. The CEO should get out and see the day to day staff, not the ones that have been cherry picked !

    Pros

The money and overtime was the best pro

    Cons

the management and how they treated their staff, especially assuming you are always in the wrong.

    Advice to Management

Get off your tail ends, get out on the road at least once a month do a shift driving, see what your drivers put up with, and not just a short shift or day shift, do a long shift, a night shift, really find out out what your drivers go through!!

    Pros

There are none which concern Arriva. However, TfL will give you a staff pass for free travel in London.

    Cons

Management will harrass, bully, intimidate and give disiplinaries for the most trivial of events, iBus controllers will talk to you like excrement. New drivers start on £9.30 ph, one of the lowest rates in London for PCV driver!

    Advice to Management

You lot need to wake up to the frontline staff's concerns and start listening and working with us instead of smashing us round the head with your rule book. Have you not noticed the low moral of your staff?

    Pros

I guess the wages are better than most pcv companies in the area and the banter with the lads is cool but that's it

    Cons

The shift patterns are all over the place for example you can finish at 0100 and be back in at 0930 am with up and down start finish times with one weekend in 4 off you will lose any social life you have plies the management will treat you like a peice of scum and treat you like they have just stood on you which they probably have add they are really keen to sack everyone they bully boy tactics employed are shocking work the unions powerless to act. There are thousands of ways for them to sack you. As after all in managements eyes all drivers are lying, malingering , theiving peices of scum

    Advice to Management

    Commit harikari

    Pros

Good Money for the Job Worked with some great people

    Cons

Management were oblivious to Staff Concerns You were disciplined at the drop of a hat To get anywhere near justice you had to fight Union reps were worse than useless

    Advice to Management

Listen more to your staff than you ever did to your passengers Get off your backsides and get out at least once a week to do a driving shift, see it from the other side

    Pros

there is only one reason that I work for this company is the wages are much better than most other company's.

    Cons

Trying to keep to the impossible times on some of the routes. management know we need more time but because it means spending money they wont give us any. They just keep making excuses.

    Advice to Management

Listen more to the people on the front line. and less on the figures you keep coming up ith on your paper work.
