Run away. It's a shark tank.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Pasadena, CA

ProsGood students doing interesting work all the time that's on display all around the campus. Good instructors. Nice treatment for some workers.

ConsEgos everywhere. Nasty work culture. Nice treatment for some workers. What you see on the surface is not the real work place.

Advice to Senior ManagementGive some of your millions back to the school, retire, and let the school get some fresh people. Too much dead wood.

Great environment, filled with cutting edge technology, art, excitement, creativity

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Pasadena, CA

ProsFor all those reasons, it is an amazing place, that never ceases to be wonderful.

ConsThe pay is poor, and it is nearly impossible to get a kind word or recognition from the administration. Raises are unheard of, and there is no real tenure track, and the salaries are low.

Advice to Senior ManagementCare a little more about your "instructors" , hey, call them professors even, and you will get more loyalty and recruitment, payback etc. You care more about your buildings than your people!

    great

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsIt is a very creative place and full of highly innovative people. There are a lot of energy and competition between students.

ConsArt Center is a stressful envoironment and everything is happening in fast pace. No time to relax of rest if you want to be competitive and stay above average.
