    Future not so bright here

    Territory Sales Manager (Former Employee)

ProsA very good product that can compete with anyone.

ConsManagement is a bit clueless. While they have removed some managers that are horrible, they still from the top down have little understanding of the sales teams needs or cares.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop overloading territories with reps. Market, market, market...also, your nor Cisco, while you may be as good product wise...stop acting like you are a staple to IT...your not.

    Kinda in the middle...maybe lost

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThere are great people there who want to help one out. Making waves in the wireless field. Beer parties, pool, BBQ, great pay, and flexible working hours.

ConsMaking the transition from small to med company. They do not have some people with the right expertise to do the job. Thus, there are issues with existing products.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop out-sourcing as much and develop more internally. Instead of taking off the self parts and putting them together...develop them yourself. Also, do not strive for the competitions level but beyond.

    Sales Engineer (Former Employee)

ProsGreat people to work with, fair compensation, HR was great to work with - albeit they took some time to get back with you, Solid WiFi solution.

ConsAlways tried to be everything to all customers, no clearly defined product marketing message, internal product technical information was difficult to find when needed.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop trying to be all things to all accounts. Focus on the product strengths and come up clear concise marketing message

Poor middle management is a historical problem that never gets resolved.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGenerous equity compensation; flexible work schedule

ConsFrequent change of management and company direction/strategy. In terms of hiring and promotion, this company swings from one extreme to another. I've witnessed a bunch of director level employees let go because of complaints that they don't do enough work. Then those positions are filled with the most hardworking individual who has zero management skills and don't know how to build a team, how to delegate, how to scale the work, commanding every work details to their personal taste at the sacrifice of their direct reports happiness without real improvements in the quality of work products. The end result is that the company is still suffering talent retention issue.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrain the people you want to promote to management role before you actually promote them; part of the reviews for people managers need to come from his/her direct reports.

    Everything except technology

Software Engineer (Current Employee) Sunnyvale, CA

ProsI have to really think about it so I guess there is nothing outstanding anymore. On second thought, work from home is acceptable to extreme limits where fortunate ones need to show up once a week.

ConsToo much of work but the rewards depends on the personal equation with management. Lots of talk can take you place. Good place if you can talk well.
