I worked at Aruba Networks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great technology but slow to market. Need alignment within software development and hardware development.

    Cons

Need to start acting like a larger company. Very sales focused. Very little focus on employee success outside of sales. Sr. Leadership team needs to establish broad goals and objectives that help align entire company vs. just marketing and sales objectives. Focus on developing leaders and employees is not there.

I worked at Aruba Networks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

A very good product that can compete with anyone.

    Cons

Management is a bit clueless. While they have removed some managers that are horrible, they still from the top down have little understanding of the sales teams needs or cares.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop overloading territories with reps. Market, market, market...also, your nor Cisco, while you may be as good product wise...stop acting like you are a staple to IT...your not.

    I worked at Aruba Networks

    Pros

There are great people there who want to help one out. Making waves in the wireless field. Beer parties, pool, BBQ, great pay, and flexible working hours.

    Cons

Making the transition from small to med company. They do not have some people with the right expertise to do the job. Thus, there are issues with existing products.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop out-sourcing as much and develop more internally. Instead of taking off the self parts and putting them together...develop them yourself. Also, do not strive for the competitions level but beyond.
