    Pros

A company which follows certain japanese disciplines to improve production.. Can learn a lot of quality based aspects and japanese technology... seniors are friendly, talented and young... salary is just average still hike is provided every year... opportunity for individual Growth is very high...

    Cons

Management should improve the salary for GET's and also for the experienced because a similar glass company is providing huge salary so even they should provide

I worked at Asahi India full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

You will learn a lot here but at the cost of many sacrifices.

Only good for GET's till they complete their training period.

    Cons

Almost all employees here primarily at execution level are highly overloaded.

You have to come early and leave early almost everyday.

    Too many meetings and reviews!!

Weak HR.. No scope for development or trainings of employees !

    All day firefighting!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your people are your biggest assest.
Become a people oriented organization. Care for them!!

I have been working at Asahi India full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The good thing about the organization is that it gives an opportunity to learn a lot both in terms of systems and technology.

    Cons

The engineers are made to extend their shifts without being paid overtime. This makes me feel that i am being exploited. One engineer is made responsible for the happenings in all the shifts, which i believe does not make any sense. The work culture is pathetic. The employees lack motivation. They don't have a social life, they only have a plant life which too is very dissatisfying. There is no hierarchy in the system, any senior official can baffle a junior employee at any instance. Neither the salary nor the increment it offers is ravishing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Every process should consist of 3 engineers , one for each shift. If the engineers are asked to extend their shifts, they should be paid more for that day. The social gathering should be more frequent , say every month. There should be hierarchy in the system. Only my immediate boss should assign and review my work.
