are you disposable? not disponible but disposable?

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsLooks like a nice small family company, very pleasant during the interview.

Consdriven by fear, working there could be a nightmare, no wonder they moved from baltimore, they had the disposable reputation over there.

Advice to Senior Managementtreat people like you would want to be treated

    – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Not a good working environment

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Landover, MD

ProsGood compensation with the understanding contract could end at any time and you could be out of a job at any time.

ConsNo employee training program. A culture of fear and intimidation. No clear communication and direction is provided. Very high turn over rate. Employes are not properly trained and if they make mistake they are blamed and summarily dismissed. The rate of travel advertised during the interview process is 65 percent, but in actuality it is closer to 100 percent. I have seen dozens of employees come and go during my time with the company. I would not recommend this company based on these facts.

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove new and existing training program (currently non-existent). Improve communication with employees. Provide leadership and direction and support a more open environment free of fear and intimidation.

    Nurse Surveyor (Former Employee)
    Landover, MD

ProsI had state-of-the-art tools to do my work and I received timely feedback on my progress.

ConsIt is not for everyone of you just want to do 9-5. The management requires accountability and professionalism.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't expect all your employees to be stars, no matter how much you try.

    Horrible

    Nurse Reviewer (Former Employee)

ProsThe people were nice and the hours were flexible.

ConsUnprofessional. Nurses were hired and promised long term work and then were laid off not even 2 weeks later. The owner presents himself as very professional and stresses professionalism during the interview but doesn't exhibit it himself. During the whole confusion with the contract and subsequent lay off, he never once addressed the employees to explain what was going on. He had the HR team do all the dirty work. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Advice to Senior ManagementExhibit the same professionalism that you demand from your employees.

    Oppressive

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
    Landover, MD

ProsIt's a job and you'll get paid in a timely manner.

ConsThis is a small family owned business. The CEO and COO are married, although you will only find this out after you've been there for a while. Management constantly snipes about employees behind their backs - there is a small trusted group of administrative personnel, not sure you'd want to join the inner circle here, but if so it will take months of kissing up, so bring chap stick.

The company has about half of their staff in the local area and an equal number of remote contractors.

If you get a chance ask about the turnover ratio prior to accepting a position - you'll find the remote staff has been pretty stable, I'm guessing that they don't have to deal with the day to day crap, but the local staff is like a revolving door.

Advice to Senior ManagementWouldn't even know where to start with this team.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

ConsIf you are slow to catch on and you are not a go-getter, this is not the job for you.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the good work and remember that not all employees are ready for the opportunities the company provides.
