Details
Pros
Amazing opportunity for personal growth and exposure to non-profit work in India. The work is very rewarding, and allows you to really become a part of the community and culture you are living and working with. Management is very friendly and understanding. Great opportunities for travel around India and experience outside of work are a plus.
Cons
Can be very draining work, very different culture. Days are long, and transportation to slum sites can take a very long time, especially in bad traffic which is likely. Training could be improved somewhat woth more formal structures set in for volunteers.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep up the good work.
