I have been working at Ashfield In2Focus as a contractor for more than a year

They have most of the contact vacancies in the UK currently.
Large number of contract vacancies across a number of therapy areas and at a variety of experience levels

    You're a number
The client is always right with no real recourse for contract staff
As they are the biggest CSO, your options are limited

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Your contract staff make your money, give them a real voice

    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

If you are desperate for a job this is an ok short term solution

    I worked at Ashfield In2Focus

Chance to try jobs that you wouldn't otherwise
Competitive basic salaries but be aware there are few if any benefits once you read small print of contract

    Treated as a commodity
Will make money out of you at every opportunity
Be aware that first six months are probationary and don't count as full employment so no sick pay for a year!! Interesting as that's the length of many Contracts
    Also check your notice periods
You have to give a month ... They give you a week
Finally take photos and records of your company car
I have not met anyone yet who has escaped without being charged on return on their car

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees as people and they can be a real asset to you
