Work-life balance does not quite exist

Having a powerful 'mentor' causes imbalance in promotions and positions

Advice to Senior Management – Be quicker to respond to feedback from the field and bring new products/ modify products

Pros – Company has built a culture around which executives are put to perform at max potential
You will gain excellent exposure and experience
Atmosphere is free and fair -except in production.
If you perform you will get more work and more experience.

Cons – Absolutely impossible to grow -except you ener through GET.
There is some discrimination between some class of people on the lines of ---,---( less explained due to this info in public domain)
You will lose all the morality and motivation due to this.
In promotion performance comes last.
In my case i got continuous 3 superior increments still i was denied promotion.
Expect you to work like your own company.
They will take plenty of employee satisfaction surveys but rarely considered all the views
Top management will talk high actually they do less.

Advice to Senior Management – Don't keep century old traditions
create a faith in employee that company cares.
Treat people evenly and don't discriminate.
trim down top layer and make the company lean
brutally remove top level non performers.
Treat people with dignity - Traveling allowance,hotel stay allowance etc.
Empower middle management with decision making authority -Top level only to check the objectives and goals not whether middle management takes right decision.

Pros – mnc & famous group. after leaving ashok leyland more offers in others groups because i am in contract basis.

Cons – i am doing job in ashok leyaland in LAYAM contract. i have learning more from ashok leyland.

Advice to Senior Management – please , give attention to retried and those who have left the company under V R S, by inviting to them ayudha pooja, early once management shall give a small amount as new year gift. The senior employees were only pillars for current ASHOK LEYLAND .
