    Good

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Chennai (India)

ProsYou can find a lot of really talented guys working there.
Once you get a good mentor, you will be given a lot of freedom (of course with responsibilities).
    salary is quite good

ConsBetter co-ordination is need between various manufacturing plants. Sometimes workers in certain plants remain very free for most of the time and get busy only during year ends. Better planning can minimize this.

Advice to Senior ManagementQuick response to market needs would be better.
For instance, I heard that a prototype similar to the iconic 'Tata Ace' took so long to bring into production. Though your model was much superior, the delay enabled your competitor to sell millions of units in that time period and establish a stable position in that segment.

A great place to work for engineering graduates.

Deputy Manager - Marketing (Former Employee) Chennai (India)

ProsWell paying company and a tremendous reputation. Growth is swift for first 6-8 years. Well established systems in place. Scope provided for rotation in departments. A great Product Development team with emphasis to R&D. Great training program for fresh graduates but its been reduced from an year to few months.

ConsHas a cultural divide, and is transition phase from senile and slightly laggard work culture to a dynamic and young culture. Responsibilities not properly defined.
