    Pros

Genuine opportunity to help clients and watch other people grow. Company seems to care about staff's personal development and provides a fair amount of training opportunities.

    Cons

It's difficult to advance through the company and there are not a lot of promotions. Raises come few and far between. Communication isn't always clear between each department.

    Advice to Management

Work on better communication with staff and providing raises.

    Pros

The majority of clients served very much need AspenPointe services. As the major Medicaid related provider in El Paso County, AP is uniquely positioned to deliver value. There are many fine clinicians who work there.

    Cons

Unfortunately, service delivery is not what it should be. For unknown reasons (maybe because the ex-CEO made in excess of $700k and didn't have a value service delivery mindset?), AP is not able to hire enough clinicians to service the population. Clinicians are overworked, carrying caseloads in excess of 100 clients (ridiculous), and their sole focus seems to be on numbers (service units) as opposed to delivering quality services.

    Advice to Management

Focus on quality of service, not quantity. Get serious about training. Do something about the toxic political environment.

    Pros

AspenPointe truely cares about its employees and works hard to ensure employee satisfaction. Lots of autonomy allowed within the job and management is very open to new ideas and initiatives.

    Cons

No raises. Unless you change positions to a management or higher level position your pay will remain the same.
