    Pros

    Good quality product lines for the price point in the optical industry.
    Salary plus bonus.

    Cons

    Weak compensation package.
    Bonus program is of little value.
    No benefits or expenses.
    Limits growth for sales force.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Expand communication to sales force and clients.
    Put programs into place to solve problems with account billing and VSP.
    Cut inventory to a manageable level to better serve clients and avoid lengthy back orders.

    My Boss does understand how hard it can be to get account. Very understanding that's for sure

    Cons

    Sometimes your accounts would get so mad at you as a frame rep. The communication is horrible i am so unhappy with the way you handle things. I have never disliked a company so much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Fix the Vsp issue or bring your frame cost down.

    Pros

    Company guaranteed us a "salary" since they knew their products were almost impossible to sell due to an impending lawsuit. I received support my fellow "teammates" and was able to discuss issues with them at any time.

    Cons

    No communication whatsoever from upper management concerning lawsuit. Because of this we continued to lose accounts and we received no support from management. My direct manager was the worst of all, no communication and no support, I never felt as though I could discuss my frustrations and obstacles with them. The worst job ever...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Communicate with your territory managers and treat them as though they are intelligent human beings so they are better able to professionally discuss issues with their customers. Hire managers who can MANAGE, those who can be both empathetic and motivational instead of managing with fear and insults.

    Pros

    Innovative technology, some very loyal customers although they are dwindling..

    Cons

    Terrible communication from regional managers and upper management. Frames are outdated and the company always has a lawsuit they are fighting. Very hard to sell due to these issues.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Better communication is important and keep up with latest trends. VSP lawsuit needs to be resolved in order for business to improve.

    The company does not have a computerized order entry system. Errors occur.
