  1. Great job for a person that just wants to punch in/punch out and doesn't let work get to them

    Pros

work from home, pays better than most wah jobs, at least 1 weekend off a month, easy money for the right person, 5 weeks paid training, good for 'pocket money', some of the clients are wonderful,

    Cons

high turnover, slow system with slow tools to assist you with the job, many of the staff should not have passed training, no management available on a late evening or weekends, no promotional prospects, weak management, no consistency, waiting until the last minute for schedules, unfair distribution of holidays, very stressful job for the wrong person, exceptionally rude, over privileged clients , may pay your rent but not much more

    Advice to Management

Try harder to keep your 'good' people & offer more training to the people that need it. This could be a great job if only the tools & support from management were better

    Pros

This company actually hires you and you are an employee rather than contractor so they remove taxes for you, provide insurance, etc. You can work from anywhere as long as you have a hard line internet connection.

    Cons

There's not a lot of room for advancement as it is a small company. They haven't provided raises for anyone in the company for 4 years, they did just provide minimal raises under 50 cents per employee.

  3. An excellent company that motivates you to do your best.

    Pros

I have been in the workforce for over 17 years. Honestly, Aspire gives you a fantastic training program that prepares you for your job, the best I have ever seen. You spend five weeks (that's 200 hours) in classroom-based training, in addition to eight weeks of on-the-job training, with excellent trainers, team leaders, mentors, service delivery managers, and transitional job coaches to support you through your introductory 90-day period, and even beyond.

Moving up the in the company is not difficult, if you put your best foot forward and be the best you can be, every day. With the support mentioned above coupled with personal drive, the sky is the limit, it appears!

    Cons

You will work non-traditional hours and holidays. You are compensated for them, however.

    Advice to Management

Training is the foundation for a successful career. Training is only as good as the people who train. Keep the powerhouse of a training department that we have now, and reward them. They love what they do, and it shows. I genuinely love what I do everyday, and a big part of that has to do with the guidance I was given since day one.

Thank you for all that you do for us; for listening, caring, rewarding, and advising. Your compassion and guidance are also wonderful motivators. These are the key ingredients for a high workplace morale.

    Pros

Great people. You cannot help but work closely with other team members as the environment is so bad and rundown.

    Cons

Low pay, unattainable bonus, the new management team is arrogant and self serving.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to play tricks with us. We see what is really happening and just ask for your transparency. If not we will play along until the business implodes.

A company so bad I'm surprised they don't offer a suicide hotline as part of their benefits package.

    Pros

    - Close to where I lived at the time.

    Cons

-No opportunity for growth or career advancement.
    -Horrible senior management.
    -Awful hours/wages.
-You are highly replaceable and senior management has no problem throwing that in your face if you happen to disagree with a policy or make a mistake unintentionally.
-Even if you do manage to work your way up to manager or "Team Leader" they only make like 40k and you're pretty much capped at that salary with the exception of petty bonuses.

    Advice to Management

-Understand that your employees are constantly being berated by the extremely wealthy for trivial needs such as concert tickets and dinner reservations.
-The verbal, written, and final warning policy needs to go; mistakes happen.
    -Stop playing favorites.
-Offer a more comprehensive training class that actually prepares employees for everything they'll face in the bay.

    Pros

Bonuses for performance & attendance, and detailed training on how to handle/perform duties.

    Cons

Late-night virtual meetings (At home, so not too bad), and you have to know how to handle stress and pressing clients especially during the holiday season.

    Advice to Management

    None, really.

    Pros

After years of poor management, new leaders from new parent company are making long-needed changes. They are trying to understand the negative, morale-defeating work environment and are making changes rapidly.

    Cons

A history of bad management and HR, massive turnover and bad morale. The best people quit because the least competent types who manage up well but treat colleagues like stupid children are the only ones we see get promoted. It's been demoralizing but it may be changing with new company management.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening. Make your own judgements about who is really good. Look at work rules-- they are a big reason for turnover.

    Pros

Challenging work experience with a variety of projects.

    Cons

Incredibly long hours, below average pay, high turnover, no work-life balance and senior managers lack real concern for employees.

    Advice to Management

Honesty and integrity are key in creating a competitive business. Employees are the greatest asset but are not treated as such. For those with 6 figure salaries, remember the bulk of the work is done by those who can't even earn a living wage. Many low-income single moms who never receive a pay increase after many years of great service. Although employees love the company, it's difficult to see a long-term future without recognition.

    Pros

Pay check is decent. Your fellow employees do become your friends.

    Cons

upper management needs to better understand the stress of the job and stop standing over people to take another call. Don't have a whole other department to call you every 5 minutes to take another call.

    Advice to Management

honestly, start fresh with a whole new management team. Most of the management has "checked out" meaning they are done caring as long as their team number are better then another teams. Higher from within and not people from the outside
