Can live on site rent free.
Allows you to encounter a lot of interesting people.

Cons

Does not provide much training.
Does not make expectations clear.

Pros

The only pro I can consider is that I had a job for the short time I was employed here. Also, management is very relaxed.

Cons

Lack of communication, rent taken out of paycheck (it's not free), ridiculous hours (on occasion), no overtime, money missing from paychecks.

Advice to Senior Management

Management needs to be a bigger commitment to maintaining communication between management and employees instead of surprising the employees with news or events at the last minute.

Pros

Great employer to have on your resume. They also offer fair benefits at an affordable price. Time off is easy to obtain.

Cons

The management is very unprofessional. Management uses profanity towards lower level employees. Expectations of the job are not fully outlined. You do not know you've done anything wrong until you are getting yelled at for it.

Advice to Senior Management

Replace Mid-Level Managers!

Pros

Upper management was accessible and amicable to the suggestions made by the staff. Bonuses were often generous and give the place a fairly competitive vibe.

Cons

While upper management was eager to hear the opinions of the staff, middle management usually try to stifle any such interaction. It was almost as though they felt threatened by their staff.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to your local staff. You hired them because they know the market that you are entering. Make sure that middle managers don't stifle their opinions.
